Respite Care

The Wartburg's Skilled Nursing Residence offers respite care for those caring for loved in their new home. Short stay respite can permit caregivers to enjoy a short break, vacation, take a business trip and provide safe, clean, warm, yet professional care in the event of personal emergencies.

Temporary living arrangements include a room and meals on one of The Wartburg's skilled nursing floors. Respite Care residents have full access to all of The Wartburg's services, activities and amenities. Medical care is available if need arises.

Comfort for your loved one, peace of mind for yourself...a respite stay at The Wartburg can help recharge your energy or provide a temporary breather from the day-to-day responsibilities of full-time care giving.

Arrange for short stays of 2-30 days by calling (914) 513-5141.

Comfort Care

Comfort Care provides dignified, gentle end of life care at The Wartburg. An interdisciplinary team of medical specialists, social workers, counselors and our full-time chaplains tend to palliative and spiritual needs of The Wartburg's residents, as well as to the special needs of the family and friends during what can be a difficult and vulnerable time. We also offer services through a local community hospice organization if needed.
